This to me is what life is about! *SIMPLE*..... I took the munchkins to the county fair today and they had SUCH a good time...... I am SO glad the girls joined 4H and we've had this experience.....
I can not even begin to describe how good it felt to see the kids interacting with the animals, taking care of them, playing with them, and just in general being mindful of their surroundings and respecting "life".
Logan fell in love with the pigs...... YES I said Pigs! It was absolutely hysterical to watch him interact with them. He would walk up to their pens and would do his best to try to talk to them, they (at first) were having NOTHING to do with him.... it was HOT, and the majority of them were being lazy and just didn't feel the need to get up.... They'd lift their heads up, look at him and *kerplunk* back down their heads went....
Then he found one that was sticking his nose through the gate just waiting for some attention so off he went to *try* to communicate with him..... The *owner* of the pig was nice enough to let him pet and feed him so logan had a blast!
Chlo and Elissa LOVED the horses.... We spent ALOT of time in the horse barnes......
Tyler surprised me...... He really didn't have a reaction to anything UNTIL we got to the goat barn......Then he absolutely went NUTS..... (something tells me we are going to end up with a goat and pig before long.....
We ended the day at the demolition derby and everyone had a BLAST......
This folks is WHY I moved to the country...........

That sounds great. I love fairs. We are taking the kids to the Mn State Fair this weekend.
Maybe we can talk to some animals too.
