Neopets

Neopets has been around for awhile..... My oldest daughter has been a member for around 4 years or so & happily she has not lost interest....... When she first joined the site I monitored it closely & soon discovered I liked it............... so I joined! LOL

As a parent tho I have to say that Neopets is probably one of the absolute BEST *games* out there....

It teaches the children a very IMPORTANT lesson.... One that adults and parents fail to teach them every day.....

The lesson is simple.... "Savings"

When you join you are given X amount of neopoints, and a couple of items to put in your shop. (IE you have a store front)

You build your neopoints (AKA) Money by buying low and selling high. You also can play games to earn neopoints and invest in the "Neopian Stock Market".

You also can *adopt* up to 4 virtual pets..... Those "pets" must be fed and taken care of.....

All in all Neopets is by far the BEST online game I've found for my children...
