I've got a second to post this so thought I'd write about our adventures (thus far) .... I remember going back and reading the blogs after vacation was over last year and laughing my rear off sooooo I am going to do it for my own amusement........If ya don't want to read about the quirky, quacky, NUTSO acts skip the next week or so worth of blogs....
We went to Shanksville today...... and tonight we are in Maryland...... Shanksville is such a beautiful place...... (lots of farm land) and it was also a very sober reminder of how 911 touched ALL of our lives.... I've uploaded pics to my Myspace site and for those of you that don't have MS I'll work on getting them up to another photo share site soon......
No really *funny* stories to tell *yet* Other than Mom and I will freely admit that we are navagationally challenged (is that even a flipping word?) I really want to LIE here and say we did not have TWO.... (yeah count em TWO garmin's going) and STILL got lost...... (no comments please it was stressful enough) :)
Oh.... and WHY do I have time to sit here and post this blog right now? Instead of SWIMMING in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub?....... Well that WHY belongs to my little Logan bear who decided that he was going to test the waterproof factor of my luggage..... (It failed miserably) and I am now sitting in the hotel laundry room waiting for two loads of laundry to be finished.....
Let's hope that I managed to get the chocolate milk out........
Enough for today......... Tomorrow is a new day and we'll be exploring Maryland- Will write more but hopefully it won't be sitting next to a washer and dryer!!!!!!!!
